Short Stay Agistment
Care with Purpose
Sometimes horses simply need a safe place to stay.
Whether you're heading away on holidays, need intensive rehabilitation care, are waiting for fencing to be completed, or simply looking for quality short-term care, Harmony Horsemanship provides a peaceful environment where your horse's welfare comes first.
Every horse is cared for as an individual, with attention to their routine, wellbeing and day-to-day needs.
More Than Just Agistment
Short-stay care at Harmony Horsemanship is about more than providing a paddock.
With a background in foundation training and horse management, we understand how important consistent handling, thoughtful management and careful observation are to a horse's wellbeing. Whether your horse simply needs a place to stay or requires handling as part of their daily care, every interaction is approached with patience, respect and an understanding of how horses learn.
To ensure every horse receives consistent care and management during their stay, horses agisted under this service are not available to be ridden by owners or other riders while at Harmony Horsemanship.
Purpose-Built Facilities
Harmony Horsemanship has been thoughtfully designed to provide a safe and comfortable environment for horses during their stay.

Quiet surroundings with room to relax
Individual feeding where required
Regular health and wellbeing checks

Rehabilitation Support
Recovery doesn't always end when your horse leaves the veterinary hospital.
Harmony Horsemanship offers post-acute rehabilitation support for horses that require ongoing day-to-day management during their recovery. This service is designed for owners who may not have the time, facilities or ability to provide the follow-up care required at home.
This is not a veterinary service. All veterinary treatment and rehabilitation plans remain under the direction of your veterinarian. Our role is to provide the daily care and management required to support your horse's recovery in accordance with your veterinarian's recommendations.
When Can We Help?
Short-stay care may be suitable for:
Holidays
Property moves
Waiting for fencing or stable renovations
Horses requiring post-acute rehabilitation support
Horses needing a quiet place to rest and recover
Owners requiring temporary care
Horses transitioning to a new home
Individual Care
No two horses are the same.
Every horse arrives with their own routine, personality and individual needs, and we believe those differences matter. Wherever possible, routines are maintained to help horses settle quickly and feel secure throughout their stay.
Owners receive regular updates for peace of mind, and if your horse is also enrolled in a Foundation Training program, their care and training are seamlessly integrated throughout their stay.
Peace of Mind
When your horse stays at Harmony Horsemanship, you can be confident they're receiving knowledgeable, compassionate care in a safe and supportive environment.
Whether they're staying for a few days or a little longer, our priority is ensuring every horse leaves healthy, settled and well cared for.
